Show Notes

This is the final episode of our Lenten series, "Life in the Vine".

The Easter Pandemic: When Jesus Goes Viral
Matthew 28:16-20

Since Jesus has been raised, he owns all authority in heaven and earth, to transform the destiny of all nations, through the diffusion of all his commands into our hearts, made
possible because he is always with us, until the world's renovation is complete.

Jesus came to this world and became a man in order to spread to other men the kind of life he has—by what I call a 'good infection.' Every Christian is to become a little Christ. . . ." --C. S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

The love-drenched world Jesus foresees is impossible to realize on our own. But with God "all things are possible." He will change my heart from one that is curved in ward to one that is curved outward.

Next Steps:
1. Are you feeling and spreading the good contagion of Jesus' love?
2. Are you praying for impossible possibilities that only God can make happen? What are they?
3. Are you finding ways to connect with God and others during this time of social isolation? Are you part of the Pandemic of Hope?

Matthew 28:16-20
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
