THEME - We resolve to rest in Jesus in 2023!
TEXT - Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus brings a new and glorious morn into which we awaken to find rest for our souls.

1. Give up the burden of control.

• We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not mourn. Matthew 11:17
• You are not in control!

 2. Give up the burden of sin.

• If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. 
• No sin is not beyond forgiveness.

 3. Give up the burden of striving. 

• Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10a 
• You will be restless until you find rest in God.
